Dear colleagues and friends!
On behalf of the Congress Organizing Committee, it is my great honor and pleasure to invite you to participate at the 5th Croatian Congress on Infectious Diseases, with international participation, to be held in Zadar, Croatia, 23 - 27 September 2006.
Selected topics covering many fields of infectious diseases, state of the art lectures held by national and international experts will be sufficient invitation, we hope, to all those involved in solving complex problems of infectious diseases.
I take great pleasure in inviting you to join us in Zadar, to actively participate, meet other colleagues and share your knowledge and experience.
Zadar, our host city, is a 3000 year old city, whose streets stretch in accordance with an ancient city plan; with a Roman forum, the monumental early Romanesque Church of St. Donatus dating from the 9th century; unique Romanesque churches, powerful walls with exemplary city gates, traditional Music evenings, an invaluable Permanent Ecclesiastic Art exhibition, the oldest University in Croatia (1396) and always bustling produce and fish markets.

The congress hall is situated in the Hotel Donat.
Both Hotels (Funimation and Donat) that offer accommodation to Congress participants are at a walking distance from the congress venue.

PowerPoint slides and Posters should all be written in English.
Lecturers and poster presenters may choose to address the audience in either English or Croatian language.
Simultaneous translation will not be provided.
